Whakapapa and Pou

Wednesday  4th of September Whaea Kerry,Whaea Monika and Whaea Tara came to Bay of Island College, with devices that helped us finish our heritage posters we had to add more detail  to make them look better .We used apps like Sketch up,Sculpt gl, Tinker cad and many more apps to make our work look 3D.I made on sculpt gl  a pou which looked cool, each design on my pou had represented something of my identity.I also took pictures of students then add those pictures out of the whare.

My reflection- I felt relieved because my work was finished and it looks great

Good Netiquette in class today reflection

Today in Social Studies we have been learning about Netiquette and how to sort things out on web sites as in  Messenger and all that stuff and dos and don'ts whether it's online or not you still have to be safe.

But if you don't know what Netiquette is well it's a way of how you use the internet. If i was to say
something bad  to someone it would be don’ts but in another cause if I was to say something nice
like i like the way you respond to my texts that would be dos, because its nice to treat someone
like you want to be treated but if  it was someone else saying someone thing mean or
inappropriate this is a few tips:Step one never reply to the texts step two make sure
you screenshot it step three show someone you trust step four avoid texting them and step
five have a break from the device your

My poster for Christchurch

I created this poster to tell the people of Christchurch that we are thinking about them.

In my own opinion a person culture shouldn't matter because we are different in our own unique ways.

Migration in New Zealand

Do you ever wonder why people migrate to New Zealand?
Well i think its because some country's are at war,  not enough jobs, there are probably many other reasons why people might migrate.

The reason why i think people want to came to New Zealand is because of the cultures we have  here and other different reasons, like our water, trees, sea life and also our oxygen here is fresh and clean.

Learning about this made me feel?
Speechless why because of the environment would change, also  the ocean will be harmed  by pollution that has been doped by people and it will harm sea life.

This is a image of a tree that us Maori's  represent as our own culture which is  Tane Mahuta and if you are wondering who he is here is an image of Tane Mahuta he is also known as the god of  the forest and all birds.
