Wednesday 4th of September Whaea Kerry,Whaea Monika and Whaea Tara came to Bay of Island College, with devices that helped us finish our heritage posters we had to add more detail to make them look better .We used apps like Sketch up,Sculpt gl, Tinker cad and many more apps to make our work look 3D.I made on sculpt gl a pou which looked cool, each design on my pou had represented something of my identity.I also took pictures of students then add those pictures out of the whare.
My reflection- I felt relieved because my work was finished and it looks great
Here is my whakapapa and pou
Kia ora Poppy, my name is Ben and I’m a year seven student from Paihia School. I like your blog post about you making your Whakapapa and pou using a whole bunch of different tools. I like this blog post because you added a reflection and how you have a video at the end because it shows the end result. However there are some parts that don’t make sense and there are some parts where you have missed capital letters, maybe next time you could fix this. Did you know your Whakapapa before you made this? Keep up the good blog posts.
ReplyDeleteKIa Ora Poppy my name is Autumn & I am a year 6 student at Paihia Primary School. I really liked how you added lots of detail so I could understand what you were writing about. I also like how you added what you used to make your Whakapapa & Pou but next time to make your writing better you could write what all those thing do. Before you made you Whakapapa did you know your Whakapapa?
ReplyDeleteKia ora Poppy I am a year 6 student in Te Ngahere and I go to Paihia School. I really like your blog post about your Pepeha using Tilt Brush because It made me remember when our school went to the Treaty grounds and Whaea Kerry and Whaea Monika taught us how to use Sculptgl and other amazing apps. What was your favourite thing?
ReplyDeleteKia ora Kaitlin thank you for your blog comment. When you asked what was my favourite part, well I never went to Waitangi because I had a competition to go and compete which was fun. That was my favourite part even if I never went to Waitangi. But hey, what do you think was your favourite thing among them all the things you got to do at Waitangi. Hope we can chat next time,or even be friends.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Poppy, thanks for sharing your work from the day Whaea Monika, Kerry and I got to spend with 9M. I know you spent time thinking about and adding detail to your heritage poster and it looks good in the virtual world with your carved Pou. It was great to watch you take photos of other students in the green screen and then add these into the virtual world. Ngā mihi, Tara
